Positive Behaviour Support Team Leader

Do you want to be part of and lead a dynamic and progressive team of PBS Coordinators who will develop every learner’s potential with a personalised programme?

The role will support the embedding the Positive Behaviour Support model into the organisation and which enhances our learner’s quality of life.

You will take a key role in writing PBS plans, attending and leading on multi-disciplinary team meetings, completing PBS observations and supporting learners to develop self-regulation strategies to enable better engagement in college life.

You will be also required to support and train staff in PBS interventions and model good practice when supporting our learners in challenging situations.

This role will involve delivering NAPPI training as well as overseeing the training needs within this area.

You will have experience of being in a supervisory role and be confident in working with a range of disabilities and complex needs.

Qualifications needed

You will hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English at a level 4/5 or above along with a positive behaviour support practitioner qualification or equivalent.

You will also hold a designated safeguarding lead qualification.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm with flexibility required to meet the business needs when necessary.
